I am currently working on my Garden Pond Shawl:


Yarn: Wolle's Yarn Creations - Color Changing Cotton - 1 x 100 gr = 480 yards

The pattern is easy and straight forward. I am in the last lace mesh section before the lace border.

Also OTN is a pair of socks for yours truly.

And I am very happy to report that this pair of socks is finally completed - after three (3) years. Yup.

Nothing fancy, but I like the lightning bold pooling effect. But most of all I am glad to have this pair finally done! :)

Peachy Upstairs Scarf

I finally finished my Upstairs Scarf. What a nice pattern! It is easy and can be quickly memorized, yet it looks so sophisticated. It is available as a free download on Ravelry.

Yarn: one 100 gr skein of Wolle's Yarn Creations in colorway PEACHY
Needles: 3.25 mm (US #3)
Pattern: 5 pattern repeats + 6 stitches for garter stitch edging = 61 stitches width
Size: 58 x 9 inches (147 x 23 cm) lightly blocked

SUNSET
Gotta put some sun and color in this cold and dreary time of year... The colors, especially the orange, are really bright and strong.


SUMMER WAVES
What can I say? I just love anything blue and green. This combo reminds me of Caribbean waters, which I am truly missing.

Pattern: Adelei Shawl by Wendy Neal
Yarn: one 100 gr skein (480 yards)of Color Changing Cotton in colorway KHAKI - available here
Needles: US #3 or 3.25 mm

The pattern is well written and easy to follow (Wendy provides both charts and written line-by-line instructions); I enjoyed the combination of stockinette and lace edging. The result is a cute little shawl or shawlette. :)
