Red Rock Canyon

While in Las Vegas, we visited Red Rock Canyon. What a treat!! Totally astonishing. I could have stayed there all day looking at those amazing rock formations.

    Your third picture down would make a beautiful yarn - dusty green fading to redish brown and then to a soft blue. :) Very landscape-y...

    And the next to last picture to! More vivid green to sandy brown to soft blue...

    Most tourists never discover our gem in the desert. Glad to see that you ventured out beyond slot machines to see Red Rock. We've lived here almost 20 yrs., and we never get tired of visiting. They just opened a wonderful new information center too!
