During the recent snowstorms we have been feeding all kinds of critters gathering on the porch. Our squirrel liked the buffet so much that he brought his friend:

We have had a lot of snow here in Virginia over the last few days. Sitting inside high, dry, and warm, the white wonderland looks beautiful. One of our outside cats decided to stay inside, the other two are braving the elements - together with a lot of other creatures:
This last weekend we had a big winter storm passing through Virginia. It started snowing Friday night and continued for 24 hours. The result were 2 feet of the fluffy white stuff. I love it when everything gets quiet and calm as if covered by one big blanket - only that blanket was for real this time...
